The City Library
A rebranding project for the Be’er Sheva Municipal Library, built on the values of human and content diversity.
Typography | Newsletter | Branding & Visual Identity
The Brief
We were asked to rebrand the Be’er Sheva Municipal Library while focusing on two core brand values. The task included creating a new logo, a series of posters for social media, and a newsletter, all under a unified design language that reflects the library’s identity and speaks to a broad audience.

The Idea
The rebranding was based on the values of human diversity and content diversity. Inspired by the library’s varied visitors, the visual system was designed to evoke both a row of people and a bookshelf. In addition, I used hands as expressive elements to convey emotions and literary genres, emphasizing how body language can communicate feelings beyond words. This created a design language that blends humanity, expression, and cultural richness.

The Outcome
The outcome included a new logo that highlights diversity, a series of Instagram posters illustrating literary genres through hand gestures, and a newsletter designed in the same visual language. Together they shaped a fresh and contemporary identity that strengthens the library as an open and accessible cultural space for everyone.
